Stanley Tran, O.D. earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Stanley Tran, O.D. grew up in Arlington where he played varsity tennis and was president of the National Honor Society. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Tran went on to complete his internship rotation in Ocular Disease at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic (formerly BridgeBuilders), where he provided medical care for low-income and non-insured patients in Dallas suffering from diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and ocular trauma. Dr. Tran completed a second rotation in management of cornea, cataract, and refractive diseases at Eye Gallery in Dallas. Dr. Tran served as the Chief of Staff at Plano Eye Associates for 14 years where he also provided specialty contact lens care for keratoconus and pediatric myopia control.
Dr. Tran is a Doctor of Optometry, and board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist to administer and prescribe medication for the eyes. He is a member of the American Optometry Association.
He most enjoys providing high quality medical care to treat and prevent blinding diseases in children and adults. He uses the latest technology to diagnose eye diseases and keeps up with the newest eye treatments for his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with his children and family, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys football team, volunteering and helping patients who otherwise don’t have access to quality medical eye care.
