Sana Rana, O.D.

Sana Rana, O.D. earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University in Health Sciences and continued to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston. During her optometric rotations in the New England area, she has had the great opportunity of rotating through an OD/MD practice as well as many Boston community health centers. These opportunities allowed her to focus extensively on primary ocular care and ocular disease including diabetic eye exams, glaucoma management, age-related macular degeneration, and emergency eye care. She also had the opportunity to gain experience in contact lenses of all types, pediatric care, and low vision.

Dr Rana is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

In her free time, Dr. Rana enjoys painting, reading, running and, most importantly, spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Rana has always had a strong passion for eye care, and she is excited to help her patients in the Dallas community!
